PlatGlobe Seals — Cross-Brand Seal Equivalents · Discontinued · Un-Numbered

No Part Number?
Send a Photo — We Match It

The OEM discontinued it, the tag wore off, or you inherited a pump with an unmarked seal. You don't need the number and you don't need to ship the broken part. Send a photo + 4 key dimensions; our partner-factory application engineers match a China equivalent remotely and quote it — typically 4–6 weeks air to NA/EU.

WHY REMOTE MATCHING

  • No need to pull the seal out of service to ship it
  • Factory AEs map it across John Crane · Burgmann · Flowserve · AESSEAL
  • One confirmed equivalent with specs — not 50 "maybe" listings
  • Small-batch OK; first-order mismatch → replace / refund

How the No-Number Match Works

Three steps. You send a photo and a few measurements; our partner-factory engineers do the cross-brand mapping.

1

Send a photo + dimensions

Photo of the seal (even in the pump) + 4 key dimensions: shaft Ø, seat OD, length, elastomer. No broken part to ship.

2

We cross-reference

Factory AEs match it across brands and return one confirmed equivalent with specs and a China option we source.

3

Quote & small-batch delivery

Quoted upfront, made-to-order, typically 4–6 weeks to NA/EU (production + air freight). Trial quantities welcome; mismatch → replace / refund.

We are a sourcing coordinator, not a manufacturer. We don't stock; we match and consolidate from ISO 9001-certified partner plants. Equivalents are matched by size & function — for critical service, confirm compound & dimensions with the factory.

The 4 Dimensions That Decide the Match

You don't need calipers-grade accuracy for a first match — close numbers let the factory AE confirm the exact series. Measure these on the seal (or the installed seat).

shaft ① shaft Ø ② seat OD ③ working length ④ elastomer Schematic — not to scale
  • ① Shaft diameter (mm)The single most important number. Measure the shaft the seal rides on.
  • ② Seat head / seat OD (mm)Outer diameter of the mating seat. Tells us the cartridge vs component class.
  • ③ Working length (mm)Installed length of the seal stack. Separates Type 1 / Type 21 / cartridge families.
  • ④ ElastomerFKM / EPDM / PTFE / NBR, or just the colour & feel. Critical for media compatibility.
  • ⑤ Pump brand & model (if any)Even "Grundfos CR" or "ANSI B73" narrows the family fast.
Only have the seal still in the pump? A clear photo of the installed seal + the shaft size from the nameplate is usually enough to start. We'll tell you exactly what else to measure.

What We Can Match — and What Needs More

Honest boundaries. We match standard families and unmarked parts with a photo + dimensions. A few cases need tooling or more data first.

✓ We match these

  • Cartridge seals (5610 family), component & rubber-bellows (Type 1 / 21 / MG1 family)
  • Metal-bellows high-temp (670 / 680 family), double cartridge (5620 family)
  • Chemical-pump types (58U family) and multi-spring (Type 8-1 / M7N family)
  • O-rings by AS568 dash or by sample — incl. FFKM / Kalrez-equivalent
  • Obsolete or non-standard rubber compounds, revived to sample or drawing
  • Unmarked parts, as long as you can send a photo + the dimensions above

⚠ Needs tooling or more data

  • Parts that require a new mold — we quote setup cost or refer you to the OEM
  • No dimensions at all and no photo — we guide you step by step to measure first
  • Critical nuclear / aerospace service — confirm compound & certs with the factory
  • Exact OEM-branded spares — we supply equivalents, not genuine OEM parts
  • Large standing inventory — we break bulk; we don't hold stock

Frequently Asked

The questions buyers ask most when they have no part number.

What if I have no photo, only the old seal in the pump?Send the shaft size from the nameplate + a photo of the installed seal. We'll tell you exactly what else to measure to start the match.
Can you match O-rings too?Yes — by AS568 dash number or by sample, including FFKM / Kalrez-equivalent. Small, air-freight friendly.
How fast is it?First response within 24–48 hours. After a confirmed equivalent + order, made-to-order, typically 4–6 weeks to NA/EU.
Do you stock seals? No. We're a coordinator — zero inventory. Lead time is confirmed per inquiry. We don't invent stock or client stories.
Is it a genuine OEM part? No. It's an equivalent matched by size & function from ISO 9001 partner plants. For critical service, confirm compound & dims with the factory.
What if it doesn't fit?First-order mismatch → we replace or refund. Someone owns "it doesn't fit."

Real Matches

Each case shows OEM / unmarked → matched China equivalent → lead time. Added as they come in.

Cases will appear here after the first matched orders. Each entry will show the original (OEM model or "unmarked photo") → confirmed China equivalent → shaft size → lead time.

Send a Photo + Dimensions

No part number needed. Attach a photo (or paste a link) and the key dimensions — we match it remotely, no broken-seal shipping. Mechanical or rubber.

Live equivalent hint: pick a structure above (or leave "Not sure") and we will suggest the likely series from our orphan cross-reference index.
